Cancellation Policy

1. Purpose of Discovery Meeting The discovery meeting is an initial consultation designed to: • Discuss the Client’s project goals, ideas, and expectations • Evaluate project scope, feasibility, and service fit • Provide general guidance on next steps This meeting does not constitute the start of any formal writing, review, or editing services. 2. Booking & Confirmation • All discovery meetings must be scheduled in advance through the designated booking platform or communication channel. • A confirmation email or message will be sent once the booking is secured. • The Service Provider reserves the right to decline meeting requests that fall outside the scope of services. 3. Fees & Payment • Discovery meetings may be free or paid, depending on the current service offering. • If a fee applies, full payment is required at the time of booking. • All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. 4. Meeting Format & Duration • Meetings will be conducted via agreed platforms (e.g., Zoom, phone, or other virtual channels). • Standard session length: up to 30 minutes unless otherwise specified. • Additional time may be subject to availability and may incur additional fees. 5. Client Responsibilities The Client agrees to: • Attend the meeting on time • Provide accurate and relevant information about their project • Prepare any questions or materials in advance Late arrivals may result in a shortened session without extension. 6. Rescheduling & Cancellations • Clients may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. • Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the session and/or fee. • Rebooking is subject to availability. 7. No Guarantee of Service Engagement Participation in a discovery meeting does not guarantee acceptance into future services. A separate agreement will be required for any literary review, ghostwriting, or related services. 8. Confidentiality All information shared during the discovery meeting will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed without the Client’s consent. 9. Limitation of Liability The Service Provider is not liable for any decisions made by the Client based on advice or discussion during the discovery meeting. 10. Acceptance of Terms By booking and attending the discovery meeting, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
